The Biggest Gallery Event of the Year (and I was there!)

A week after moving in, one of the biggest gallery events took place in Chicago. A bunch of galleries that are all located in close proximity to one another have a grand opening. If you're only going to look at the art, you don't go on opening night because there are so many people that it's nearly impossible to get good face time with the work. If you want to buy work, you go on the first night because otherwise all the rich people in Chicago will have the works snapped up before you. If you're an art crazed student interested in the loads of free wine, cheese, crackers, and amazing artwork, you get there at 5pm on the dot. I saw some amazing works, ate the most amazing cheese, and... I don't drink under age! ;]

Glass
Also glass.
I can't decide what's my favorite...
A painting of a fountain. Emma doesn't like it.
I absolutely love this.
