We lit candles for lives lost.

Renee and I went to a candlelight vigil for the suicides that happened recently. Kids that were bullied for being gay took their own lives because the humiliation they suffered was so great that death seemed like the only solution. It's not okay to hate some one for being gay, bisexual, transgender, black, white, muslim, christian, atheist. It honestly hurts me to know that there are people who can't look past our differences, learn about one another, and find acceptance. It was comforting to see so many loving, accepting people out to support love that night. Thanks for inviting me, Renee.

We cried during the rally, but we went home happy.

It seems overwhelming at times, how much money goes to support discrimination. Pass along your message of love every chance you get. It's so important. Our world IS changing for the better.
